TODAY: Winners of five of their last six, the Mudcats conclude a seven game home stand today with game five of a five game series versus the Frederick Keys at Five County Stadium in Zebulon. Tonight's game is the 8th of 11 total meetings between the two teams this season. Carolina won the first three games of the series before falling 4-1 last night. Carolina leads the current series 3-1 and the overall season series 5-2.
ICYMI: Frederick's Cristian Alvarado struck out five over seven solid innings and Jake Ring hit a two-run home run in the seventh as the Keys snapped a nine game losing streak with a 4-1 road win versus the Mudcats on Saturday evening at Five County Stadium.
STARTING OFF: RHP Conor Harber starts for the Mudcats in today's home stand and series finale versus the Keys. Harber is currently 3-4 with a 2.43 ERA over 20 games and seven starts with the Mudcats this season. He also owns the Carolina League's 3rd lowest earned run average (2.43) for pitchers with at 60.0 innings pitched this season. Overall, Harber has totaled 53 strikeouts, 40 walks and a .214 average against over 66.2 innings this season. He has also gone 1-3 with 2.08 ERA as a starter (30.1 IP, 21 H, 7 R, 7 ER, 16 BB, 18 SO) and 2-1 with a 2.72 ERA over 13 games in relief (36.1 IP, 24 BB, 35 SO).

OF LATE: The Mudcats have gone 14-7 over their last 21 games and have combined to pitch to a 2.87 ERA while also owning a +11 run differential since June 14 (game one of a five game series in Myrtle Beach). The Carolina offense has combined to hit just .230 with an average of 3.7 runs per game since June 14, but the Carolina starting rotation has gone 8-5 with eight quality starts and a 3.14 ERA over that same stretch. The bullpen has combined to pitch to a 2.49 ERA and has gone 6-2 with 12 saves (14 SVO) and 67 strikeouts over 76.0 innings since June 14. They have also combined to allow only two of 24 inherited runners to score since June 14.
TRENDING: Weston Wilson has hit safely in a season best eight straight games and is batting .413/.438/.621 with a 1.058 OPS during the streak (12 H, 4 R, 1 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR, 11 RBI). He has additionally slashed .476/.500/.762 during Carolina's current home stand (1.262 OPS, 10 H, 4 R, 10 RBI).
