Leading Minnesota for the 10th time this season, Aerial Powers scored 17 points on 6-of-14 shooting from the field. Powers added a team-high four assists, two steals and a rebound in 35:05 minutes of play.
Powers' 35 minutes played is tied for the second most so far this season, with her highest being 37 in the double-overtime win on July 12 against Phoenix. Powers has played the most minutes of anyone on Minnesota's roster this season with a total of 782 minutes played.
In her fourth start of the season, Nikolina Milić finished with 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting. Milić also grabbed four rebounds and one steal in 26:05 minutes of play.
Off the bench, Rachel Banham added 11 points for Minnesota, six of which came in the final frame, connecting on 4-of-9 from the field, three of which came from beyond the arc.
Team Notes
Minnesota's bench outscored Connecticut's 29-13 led by Banham and Natalie Achonwa who combined for 19 points on 7-of-14 shooting. This marks the 20th game this season that the Lynx's bench outscored its opponent and fourth in the last six.
Minnesota and Connecticut tied points in the paint at 36 each, marking the 24th game this season the Lynx scored 30+ in the paint. This season, Minnesota has scored 1084 points in the paint (37.4 per game), second highest total in the league trailing Chicago (1156).
The Lynx open a three-game road stance on Thursday, July 28 at Atlanta Dream. The game is slated for 6:00 p.m. CT and will broadcast on Bally Sports North and on Twitter @WNBA

Natisha Hiedeman led Connecticut with a game-high 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field and 5-of-8 from deep while adding five assists and one steal in 34:26 minutes of action.
