Lynx Notes

Kayla McBride led all scorers, tallying a season-high 28 points on 9-of-17 from the field and a perfect 6-of-6 from the line, her most scored points since her time with the Las Vegas Aces on July 5, 2018 against Chicago. She led Minnesota for the ninth time this season in scoring and finished with four assists and three rebounds in 32:16 minutes.

Sylvia Fowles tallied her third consecutive double-double marking her 10th this season and 98th in a Lynx uniform (190th career). Fowles finished with 22 points, a game-high 12 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal.

Tonight marked Fowles fifth 20+ scoring game of the season and second straight with more than 20 points. Fowles finished 6-of-6 from the line, marking just the third time connecting for 100 percent on four or more attempts.

Off the bench, Jessica Shepard added 11 points on 4-of-8 from the field, dished five assists, had three rebounds and one steal. Shepard scored all 11 points in the third quarter, a season-high in quarter points, to help Minnesota take a 67-57 lead into the final quarter.

Team Notes

For the sixth consecutive game, Minnesota outscored its opponents on points in the paint, holding the upper hand tonight 46-30 at Indiana. With tonight's 46 paint points, the Lynx now have to the highest PITP total in the WNBA this season (982).

The Lynx held Indiana to 34.7% shooting from the field and improved to 140-5 when holding their opponent to 40% or less shooting since the beginning of 2011.

Minnesota outscored Indiana 24-5 over the final 5:13 in the third to erase a nine-point deficit and jump ahead by 10 going into the fourth quarter. The Lynx tallied 30 third quarter points, which ties a season-high in third quarter points (MR: July 14 vs Dallas).

The Lynx closes out the road trip traveling to the Washington Mystics on Sunday, July 17. Tipoff is slated for 2:00 pm CT and will broadcast on Bally Sport North Extra.

Fever Notes

Tiffany Mitchell led Indiana with 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field, three assists, two rebounds and one steals in 26:01 minutes of action.
