September 10, 2009 (Ottawa, ON): The Ottawa 67's today announced that veteran defenseman, Julien Demers, has returned to the team from the San Jose Sharks training camp. Julien suffered what is thought to be a minor knee injury and the date for his return to the Ottawa lineup is not yet known. Julien is being assessed today and further details will be released as they become known.
Julien appeared in 34 games, had 2 goals and 6 points last season. He is known as a rugged defenseman and who takes care of business in the 67's defensive zone.
