
Jr. Blues Gumaer headed to Bentley

The Springfield Jr. Blues have announced that team assistant captain Jeff Gumaer has committed to Bentley College for the 2005-06 NCAA Division I hockey season. The announcement was made by Jr. Blues head coach / GM Nick Pollos.
The Webster Groves, Missouri, native currently carries a 24 goals, 19 assists, 43 points, 20 penalty minutes line in 52 games. His 43 points are fourth on the team.
Gumaer is in his third year with the Jr. Blues. "We couldn't be happier for Jeff and his family on is decision to attend Bentley," says Pollos. "He will be playing for a solid program and be getting a first-rate education. Jeff is a solid complete player. He competes day in and day out, and brings a scoring threat every night."
Gumaer becomes the fourth member of this year's Jr. Blues Team to make his NCAA Division I Commitment, joining Alex Semenov (Merrimack - Hockey East), Wes Russell (Quinnipiac - ECAC), Chris Johnson (Dartmouth - ECAC).
