Josh Shalla Named The State Farm Player Of The Week

(Saginaw, MI) Saginaw Spirit winger Josh Shalla has been named the State Farm Player of the Week for his efforts in the three game series ending Monday, January 11. This week's State Farm Player of the Week honors are brought to you by Agent Jeff Felix of Saginaw, Agent Dave Russell of Saginaw and Agent Steve Witt of Midland.

Shalla tallied three goals and four assists in three games, helping the Spirit secure four of a possible six points in the rankings. The Whitby, Ontario native was recently ranked the 64th top North American skater eligible for the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau in their midterm rankings.

Marie Greyhounds Thursday at 7:11 PM, the Niagara IceDogs Friday at 7:11 PM and the Barrie Colts Sunday at 4:00 PM.
