Owen Sound Attack News Release

It may be the dead of winter, but when the Owen Sound Attack play host to the Sudbury Wolves at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre on Saturday night, there will be a feeling that Spring may be just around the corner.

With the Wiarton Willie Festival set to kick off on February 1st, the World Famous Wiarton Willie will be making an appearance at the Owen Sound Attack game on Saturday evening to drop the puck and take part in the evening's festivities. Willie, who is recognized by his white coat and pink eyes and his unfailing ability to correctly predict the remaining course of each winter emerges each February 2nd and pronounces his predictions to a national media audience and those lucky enough to be taking part in the Wiarton Willie's Festivities. Willie will also be on hand to dole out information to fans regarding the festival.

Geoff Stevens will also be performing live in the East Concourse in the Harry Lumley Bayshore before the game and during intermissions.

Tickets for Saturday night's game against the Wolves are on sale at the Attack Box Office or by calling (519) 371-7452. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.attackhockey.com.
