
Jose Canseco and Worcester Tornadoes Blow into Rockland

(Ramapo, NY) - An exciting Memorial Day weekend is on tap for the Rockland Boulders at beautiful Provident Bank Park in Pomona, NY.
The Worcester Tornadoes, featuring former major league slugger Jose Canseco come to town for their first visit of the season, this Friday through Sunday, May 25-27.
Canseco played in 17 major league seasons, recording 462 home runs and 1407 RBI. He is in his first season with the Tornadoes after joining the squad in the off-season. He and his teammates will square off against Boulder starters Julian Sampson (Friday), Will Hassett (Saturday), and Bobby Blevins (Sunday).
The weekend will also be packed with promotions starting with Friday's Boulder Bash, featuring $1 beer, post-game music in the Coors Light Bridge Bar, which will also be showing the NHL Playoff Game between the New Jersey Devils and the New York Rangers. Saturday is 90s Night, topped off by the Fireworks Extravaganza Pyromusical, choreographed to music. Sunday is a special 2:00 pm start, in which fans are encouraged to sport their Boulders colors, and after the game all kids 14-and-under can run the bases, sponsored by Sports Authority.
