Fort Wayne, IN (May 2, 2012)- The NBA Development League announced today that Cameron Jones has been named to the 2012 NBA Development League All-Rookie First Team.
In his first season out of Northern Arizona, Jones, the Mad Ants 1st round draft pick, averaged 14 points per game. He started in 34 contests which included a season high 31 point performance on 12/2 against the Springfield Armor. Also in his first season as a professional, Jones was invited to participate in the Miami Heat training camp in December.
