Six Tulsa 66ers Earn Season-Ending Honors

TULSA, Okla., May 2, 2012 - The Tulsa 66ers had six players earn season-ending honors, the league announced today. Forward Marcus Lewis was named to the Second Team All-NBA D-League and NBA D-League All-Defensive Second Team, while forward Ryan Reid was named All-NBA Honorable Mention, guard Dwight Buycks to the NBA D-League All-Rookie First Team, and forward Larry Owens along with guard Jerome Dyson to the NBA D-League All-Defensive Second Team.

Lewis, a 2012 D-League All-Star, averaged 15.1 points on a career-best .570 (292-of-512 FG) shooting from the field, 12.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 36.1 minutes in 46 games (45 starts).

Reid, averaged 11.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.0 steal and 31.7 minutes in 25 games (all starts) with the 66ers. In five games with the Oklahoma City Thunder, the forward averaged 1.6 points in 3.4 minutes.

Buycks, who participated in training camp with the Phoenix Suns, appeared in 28 games (two starts) with the 66ers, averaging 15.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists 1.2 steals in 26.8 minutes.

Owens, appeared in 32 games (26 starts) with the 66ers, averaging 12.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.3 blocks in 35.7 minutes. The guard earned a GATORADE Call-Up with the New Jersey Nets averaging 1.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 10.7 minutes in seven games.

Dyson earned a GATORADE Call-Up with the New Orleans Hornets averaging 7.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 20.0 minutes in nine games (one start) with New Orleans. He tallied 17.8 points, 3.9 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 34.0 minutes in 44 games (all starts) with the 66ers.
