Joe Whitbread Moves On

RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, Owner/President of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today the resignation of Joe Whitbread, the Director of Client Services. Joe had served in that capacity since the start of the 2002-2003 season. He has taken the position of Territory Manager for a national beverage company and will begin in his new position effective September 15th.

Whitbread will remain in his role of game night host as his schedule permits.

Brent Sutter - "It's always sad to see good people go, but having said that, the Western Hockey League is a developmental league for not only players, but for our whole staff. Joe has done a commendable job with the Red Deer Rebels during his time with the team. We are pleased that Joe is able to stay on in his game night hosting capacity. We try to deliver the best game night entertainment package to our fans; Joe has been a big part of that. We wish him the best in his future endeavor."
