Joe Montana to Headline Compeer Sports Luncheon

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Fans of all ages will have the opportunity to meet legendary Hall of Famer Joe Montana at the 22nd Compeer Rochester/Ben R. Giambrone Sports Luncheon. Nicknamed "Comeback Joe," Montana was named the Associated Press 1989 and '90 NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP). Among his career highlights, Montana electrified his fans in the closing moments of the 1981 NFC Championship Game by throwing a game-winning touchdown pass so memorable it is known by sports journalists as "The Catch."
The sports luncheon will be held Wednesday, October 26 at 12 p.m. at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Underwriter and Patron packages are available as well as corporate tables. Individual ticket packages are also on sale which include the luncheon and the VIP "Meet and Greet" autograph session. Luncheon only tickets may also be purchased.
The sports luncheon will feature a Silent Auction including:
- Jim Kelly framed autographed jersey
- Kareem Abdul Jabbar autographed basketball
- Wayne Gretzky autographed memorabilia
- Week stay at a fabulous 3 bedroom Hilton Head condo
