
Joe Charlebois Signs with Toledo for 2010-11 Season

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced today that they have signed defenseman Joe Charlebois to a contract for the 2010-11 season.
Charlebois, a native of Potsdam, NY, appeared in 67 games a year ago with the Walleye. In those contests, Joe scored five goals with 20 assists. On October 17, 2009 Charlebois scored his first professional goal against Florida. Against Kalamazoo on February 13th, Joe collected his first two goal game. Joe finished his last 22 games of the regular season with 12 points (4g, 8a).
The 24-year-old was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 6th round of the 2005 NHL entry draft and played his college hockey at the University of New Hampshire. As a Wildcat, he posted 27 points (3g, 24a) in 79 games. While at UNH, he boasted a team best plus 26 and was named Hockey East's best defenseman in 2007-08.
