Jets Continue Woes in 6-3 Loss at North Iowa

(Mason City, IA) - The Fargo-Moorhead Jets have done everything but beat North Iowa after mounting a comeback falling 6-3 Friday night.
The first was one to brush under the rug as Max Mobley (Glendale, AZ) assisted on two of the three Outlaw biscuits. Nothing went right offensively as the Jets had an early advantage on shots 10-2 but no goals. The period would end with North Iowa firing 10 shots for a 3-0 lead.
A fresh slab of ice and some intermission words had the Jets fired up as Marc Mihulka (Grand Forks, ND) put a power-play goal past Robby Moss (St. Louis, MO) making 3-1. Marc Harrie (Fargo, ND) got the second goal of the period and something seemed to be going right as the Jets trailed 3-2 after two periods.
Once again Moss would make great saves and get good help from his D core as the Outlaws netted three more from Jack Paul (Minnetonka, MN), Tyler Jundt (Williston, ND) and Bryant Skarda (Lake Elmo, MN) putting the game out of reach at 6-3. Andrew Harrison (Temperance, MI) made it interesting with his sniper at 4-3 but it wouldn't be enough. They now have lost five straight to North Iowa and look to end the skid Saturday.
The Jets will be on the air at 7:10pm with "Open Skate" the official pre-game show on fmjets.com and 103.9 The Truck. This will be the final of six games in the month of November with North Iowa for the Jets.
