
Jets Alumni John Olen Wins Three Awards

Illinois freshman John Olen picked up three Central States Collegiate Hockey League Awards, while Mike Evans grabs two, and goaltender Nick Clarke takes home another. The awards are decided by the league coaches who voted for players in 9 categories. Even with stumbling in the semi-finals to Iowa State, the Illini player's talents were noticed throughout the year.
John Olen was selected as CSCHL Rookie of the Year, 1st Team All-League, and All-Rookie Team.
