Jesus Guzman Named Player of the Week

Jesus Guzman was named Texas League Player of the Week after hitting .535 for the first ten games of the season. Guzman also leads the league in hits (23), on-base percentage (.553) and extra base hits (6). You can see Guzman and the rest of the RockHounds at Citibank Ballpark on Monday and Tuesday night!
The RockHounds will finish off their first homestand of 2008 on Tuesday night. After eight straight wins (a franchise best to start a season), the Hounds will turn their attention to the Southern Division this week as they travel to San Antonio and Corpus Christi for a pair of four game road series'. The Hounds will then return to Citibank Ballpark on Friday, April 25th for Soccer Ball night! Great group discounts and all-you-can-eat picnics are available now!
