Atlanta United FC News Release
ATLANTA - Atlanta United announced today that Jeff Larentowicz will join the broadcast booth as guest analyst for Sunday's match against New York Red Bulls (3:30 p.m. Bally Sports South, Sports Radio 92-9 The Game). Larentowicz will fill in for Maurice Edu, who had a previously agreed scheduling conflict, and will be joined by Kevin Egan (play-by-play) and Jillian Sakovits (host/reporter). Sunday's coverage on Bally Sports South starts at 3:00 p.m. with the pre-game show Atlanta United LIVE.
The club also announced that Larentowicz will fill in for Atlanta United 2's broadcast on Saturday, July 3 against Memphis 901 FC (7:30 p.m., ESPN+). Larentowicz will step in for analyst Jason Longshore, who will be on the radio broadcast alongside Mike Conti for the First Team match against Chicago Fire FC the same day (8:00 p.m. ET, Bally Sports South, Sports Radio 92-9 The Game)
Larentowicz, a 16-year MLS veteran who retired from professional soccer on April 5, made his broadcast debut earlier this season on May 23 for ATL UTD 2 during a 2-2 draw against Memphis. He originally joined the club for its inaugural 2017 season and helped it win three trophies during his time (MLS Cup in 2018, U.S. Open Cup in 2019, Campeones Cup in 2019). During his four seasons with the club, he amassed more appearances (132) than any player and still leads the club in MLS appearances with 121. Over his MLS career, he made 437 league appearances, which is second-most in league history among field players.
