Idaho Stampede News Release

SALT LAKE CITY (April 6, 2015) - The Utah Jazz announced today that the team has recalled forward Grant Jerrett from the NBA Development League's Idaho Stampede, the Jazz's exclusively owned and operated NBA Development League team. Jerrett was assigned to the Stampede on March 26 and their season concluded on April 4.

This marked the second assignment to the Stampede for Jerrett this season with the Jazz (also on assignment March 10-19). Jerrett (6-10, 232, Arizona) appeared in nine games (six starts) for the Stampede this season, averaging 12.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.1 blocks in 31.7 minutes per contest. Jerrett's best statistical game came when he registered 27 points (11-16 FG, 5-7 3FG), 13 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in a two-point loss to the Los Angeles D-Fenders on March 14. He also appeared in 10 games for the Oklahoma City Blue while on assignment from the Oklahoma City Thunder earlier this season.

The 6-10 forward has seen action in one game for the Jazz since being acquired from Oklahoma City as part of a three-team trade on Feb. 19. He previously appeared in five games as a reserve for Oklahoma City, averaging 1.4 points in 5.0 minutes per contest.

Jerrett is one of three players to be assigned to the D-League under the Jazz-Stampede single affiliation. Other players on the current Jazz roster with D-League experience include Jack Cooley, Bryce Cotton, Jeremy Evans, Rudy Gobert, Chris Johnson and Elijah Millsap.
