
Jax Lose Kilby to Boston

PORTLAND, July 24, 2008 - Mike Kilby, a Portland LumberJax defenseman for the past season, was selected by the Boston Blazers with the fifth overall pick in the National Lacrosse League's Expansion Draft today. In his only season in Portland in 2008, Kilby tallied two assists, spent 14 minutes in the penalty box and collected 27 loose balls.
The Blazers selected one player from each of the 12 returning team's unprotected lists, which were released earlier this month.
