Dubuque Fighting Saints News Release
DUBUQUE, Iowa - The USHL league office has announced that Dubuque Fighting Saints head coach/GM Jason Lammers has been named head coach of Team East at the USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Omaha, Neb. on January 12.
Lammers has coached the Fighting Saints to a meteoric rise in the standings to first place in the USHL halfway through the 2015-16 campaign with 42 points. The Saints are currently on a ten-game winning streak dating back to December 5. That mark is a franchise record.
"It is an honor to represent the Dubuque Fighting Saints at the Top Prospects Game," Lammers said. "This opportunity is the result of the focused work from the players and staff."
Two of Lammers' players on the Fighting Saints, Willie Knierim and Michael O'Leary, will participate in the game. Both are ranked skaters with NHL Central Scouting's latest Players to Watch list.
