
Bowl, Roll, and Eat Popeye's with the Jacks this January

Muskegon, Michigan - The Muskegon Lumberjacks embark upon 2016 by rolling to Bloomington this Friday, January 8th for the first game of a home and home series with the Thunder. The following night, on Saturday, January 9th, the Jacks return to L.C. Walker Arena to again face the Thunder as Muskegon celebrates "Star Wars Night" (7:15 p.m. puck-drop). Then, on Sunday afternoon (January 10th ) the Jacks will head to Sherman Lanes (1531 W. Sherman, Muskegon) to bowl with the Kids Club's 'Little Loggers" and again on Monday Night as the Jacks launch their inaugural "9-Pin-9-week-$9" Monday Night Bowling with the Jacks. This super-fun and relaxed "league" is for anyone and everyone that enjoys bowling, hanging out with the Jacks and maybe even tossing a few gutter balls. After folks have worked up a hearty appetite by watching the Jacks in action on the ice and at Sherman Lanes, all are welcome to join us for a special Jacks night out at Popeye's Chicken, located at 715 W. Norton Avenue, Norton Shores. The Jacks will be on site from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. meeting with fans, signing autographs, and hosting Popeye's swag give-a-way's every 15 minutes! Special meal deals will be available throughout the evening, and all guests in attendance will receive a special voucher valid for a future Lumberjacks game.
With a heavy road schedule in January, the second and only other January 2016 Lumberjacks home game will be held on Monday, January 18th (MLK Day) at a family friendly "lunch time" 12:15 p.m. puck drop. During this game, the Jacks will continue to celebrate the revitalization of Muskegon, while also honoring MLK and acknowledging the current high-level sports organizations that help make mUSkeGOn. A special $12 "Watch Muskegon" ticket, which includes a voucher for a hotdog and a soda, is available at our box-office (Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.).
