Mahoning Valley Scrappers News Release
Niles, OH - The Mahoning Valley Scrappers lost to the Jamestown Jammers 13-3 tonight at Eastwood Field.
The loss dropped the Scrappers to 8-8 on the season.
Mike Rayl picked up his second loss of the season pitching two innings allowing five earned runs.
Adam Veres picked up his first win of the season pitching five solid innings, giving up three runs on four hits.
The Scrappers will be back in action tomorrow as the head to Connecticut to take on the Connecticut Tigers. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
The Scrappers return home Thursday and face the Vermont Lake Monsters.
