
Jamison Sluys Commits to Western Michigan University

OMAHA, NE. - The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) are proud to announce that Forward, Jamison Sluys has committed to play Division One College Hockey at Western Michigan University.
Sluys, 17, of Point Roberts, Washington made his USHL debut on October 7th, 2022 in the Lancers 2022-23 season home-opener, which resulted is a hard-fought 4-3 shootout loss. And after suffering a broken thumb following that game, he returned to the Lancers on December 16th, 2022 to assist the Lancers to a 1-0 victory over the Sioux City Musketeers. On the season, the young forward gathered a point through six games played (0G-1A-1P) with a -1 +/- rating.
Before his time in Omaha, Sluys played 16U AAA hockey with the Long Island Gulls, where he averaged just over a point every two games during the 2021-22 season. Prior to that, he spent a season in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) with Delta Hockey Academy where he racked up 36 points (9G-27A-36P) in 32 games played.
The Lancers' organization is excited to see Jamison Sluys improve throughout his future within the organization and thrive athletically and academically in a Bronco uniform in the future!
