
USHL Enters Second Half of Season with 346 NCAA Division I Commitments

Tinley Park, Ill. - As the United States Hockey League heads into the second half of its 2022-23 schedule, a quick review for this season has the league on a tremendous pace for college commitments.
At the end of last week a total of 346 current USHL players have committed to play NCAA Division I college hockey.
Breaking it down further, 50 colleges and universities are represented amongst the 346 commitments including 91 players headed to Hockey East teams, 85 players to the National Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHC), 77 players to Big 10 programs, 55 players to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Association (ECAC), 31 players to the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA), four players to independent programs and three players to Atlantic Hockey (AHA) teams.
"The USHL is so proud of the talent level that continues to grow stronger by the year," said USHL President and Commissioner Bill Robertson. "We congratulate all the players that are moving forward in their careers as student athletes. In 2023, we have 346 Division I commitments heading to 50 different DI universities. It says so much about the developmental approach to our great league along with the great teaching and coaching that is provided every day in the USHL."
