BAKERSFIELD, March 6, 2014 - The Bakersfield Jam (14-23) ended a seven-game road losing streak as they defeated the Austin Toros (14-24) Thursday night by a final score of 111-106. Ike Diogu scored 17 of his team-high 27 points in the final quarter while also grabbing 11 rebounds and dishing out four assists.

Bakersfield shot the lights out in the first quarter as they shot 61 percent from the field, including 6-of-9 from beyond the arc, and ended the opening period with a 36-22 lead. The Jam were able to maintain their double-digit advantage through most of the second quarter and went into the break with a 62-47 lead.

The Toros outscored Bakersfield 27-17 in the third quarter to pull within five points, but the Jam bounced back in the final frame thanks in part to Diogu's monster quarter.
