Jam Slams Stampede in the fourth

Bakersfield, CA Mar 24 - The Bakersfield Jam slammed the Idaho Stampede in the 4th quarter of the game in front of 1275 fans. The final score was 98 to 82.
The bout started out evenly matched through the first 1/2 of play. The Jam gained speed late in the third quarter and wound up outscoring the Stampede 20 to 15 for the period. The score remained close, however, at Jam 65, Stampede 63. Bakersfield broke loose in the fourth quarter and never looked back. The Jam outscored the Stampede 33 to 19 in the fourth.
Kevin Pinkney was red hot with 22 points and five assists. Scooter McFadgon fell right behind Pinkney with 17 points. Brandon Bowman, Tamar Slay, Gerry McNamara and point guard Mateen Cleaves all scored in the double digits. Cleave lead the team in assists with eight.
Lance Allred lead in scoring for Idaho with 26 points. He was 10 for 14 from the field in 37.13 minutes of play. Randy Livingston also sparked the Stampede with 12 assists and 13 points.
