
Jam Move to 7-1 With Win Over Anaheim

(Bakersfield, Calif., December 13, 2008) -The Bakersfield Jam moved to 7 -1 as they started strong and never looked back and defeated their Southern California rivals 120-86.
Seven Jam players scored in double figures, with Nick Lewis, Golden State Warrior DeMarcus Nelson and Mateen Cleaves each scoring 16. Cleaves notched 9 assists and Lewis pulled in 9 rebounds. Warrior forward Richard Hendrix added 13 points and 6 rebounds, while Jeff Trepagnier scored 14 and Terrance Thomas put in 14 points.
James White led the Arsenal with 18 points, while Cedric Bozeman scored 15 and Noel Felix added 14.
Jam head coach Scott Roth was pleased with the team's overall performance, but added that their defensive effort will have to improve in less than 24 hours, as the Jam face the LA D-fenders tomorrow, in Staples Center.
Anaheim will host Idaho on December 18th.
