FRIDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Saturday's games
Erik Daniels posted 25 points and Maureece Rice added 19 as the Erie BayHawks extended their winning streak to three with Saturday's 100-82 win over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
Carl Elliott registered 23 points added five rebounds, four assists and three steals. Teammate Glen McGowan contributed with 15 points as five Skyforce players scored in double figures.
Chris Richard led Tulsa with 25 points, while Ronald Dupree chipped in with 21.
Andre Brown recorded his third straight double-double with season highs in points (25) and rebounds (13) as the Toros posted their third consecutive victory, 124-102, over the Albuquerque Thunderbirds. The Toros had six players finish in double figures. Along with Brown, Blake Ahearn added 17, while Malik Hairston and Ezra Williams chipped in 16 apiece. Marcus Williams finished with 13 points.
The Thunderbirds were paced by David Noel and Will Conroy, both with 22 points. Jasper Johnson chipped in a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds in the losing effort.
Coby Karl anchored the Idaho Stampede with 20 points and five assists, while Jermareo Davidson chipped 12 points and 13 rebounds for his sixth double-double of the season. Lance Allred and Luke Jackson added 16 and 15 points, respectively.
Dontell Jefferson led the way for the Flash, with 22 points and nine rebounds.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS...a look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games
25 players with D-League experience competed in nine NBA games last night, seven as starters. Here are the highlights:
Louis Wiliams tallied 15 points and dished five assists in 25 minutes as the 76ers defeated the Wizards 104-89.
Bobby Simmons recorded 12 points and 10 rebounds in 33 minutes of play as a starter for the New Jersey Nets.
Rafer Alston contributed eight points and seven assists for the Houston Rockets.
