ERIE, PA, December 30, 2014 - The Bakersfield Jam (11-7) overcame a 15-point second-half deficit to beat the Erie BayHawks (7-10) 119-116 Tuesday night.

The BayHawks started the game shooting lights out from the floor as they shot 64.9 percent in the first half, compared to Bakersfield's 48.0, and went into the break with a 64-58 lead. Erie extended their lead to as many as 15 points in the third, but the Jam were able to build momentum late in the quarter and went into the final frame trailing by just five points (87-82).

In the fourth, Bakersfield poured in 37 points on 66.7 percent shooting, while Erie scored 29 points on 45.0 percent shooting. Both teams kept it close late as they went back-and-forth during the final minutes of the game. With 08.2 seconds left and a 116-114 Bakersfield lead, Tyler Ennis missed a three-point shot, but T.J. Warren tipped in the miss which ultimately helped seal a Jam victory.

Elijah Millsap led the Jam with 21 points to go along with eight rebounds and five assists. Ennis posted 20 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Warren finished with 16 points, while Robert Vaden contributed 15 points (4/6 3FGs) off the bench. Mac Koshwal (12) and Earl Barron (10) also scored in double-figures.

Erie was led by Seth Curry who scored a game-high 33 points, including 7-of-12 from three-point land. Drew Crawford scored 30 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while Kadeem Batts added 18 points and seven rebounds.

Bakersfield will next travel to Idaho for a match against the Stampede on Friday, January 2. Tip-off is set at 6:00 p.m. PT.
