
Jam add several key players

Long Beach, CA. Steve Chase, President of the ABA Long Beach Jam professional basketball team scheduled to begin play in November, today announced the addition of several key players. Included are: Randy "White Chocolate" Gill (Bowie State), Ramel Curry (Cal State Bakersfield), Ben Adams (New Orleans), Damion Dantzler (Louisville), Maurice Spillers Utah State) and Joe Buck (USC). According to Chase, "The team is going to put on an unforgettable show for the fans every game because we have assembled the makings of another championship club."
Gill played with the Jam toward the end of last season and quickly became a fan favorite because of his mesmerizing passes. Curry played withe the ABA Tijuana Diablos last season as did Adams. Dantzler played for both the Jam and ABA Fresno Heat last season. Spillers played for the Diablos and Buck was a walk on who impressed everyone.
