Tycoons add four to roster

Fort Worth, TX. Steve Tucker, Head Coach for the ABA Texas Tycoons professional basketball team scheduled to begin play in November today announced the signings of four additional players to the roster, including former University of North Texas players Michael DeGrate, 6'8" forward and Jerome Rogers, 5'10" point Guard. According to Tucker, "I was very impressed with the response we received from our tryout camps this summer. The four players we signed are athletic players with impressive natural ability. The fans will like to see them play."

Rogers is a former Dallas Madison High school player where he led the team to the Texas State High School Championship in 1997 and was the Conference MVP, All-Region and a Texas All-State Selection his senior year.

In addition, 6'9 forward Delano Thomas and 6'4" guard Larry Myrick from Ohio and Kentucky were signed. Texas Tycoons training camp opens Oct 21. The first exhibition game is open to the public at W.G. Thomas Coliseum on Oct 30 vs Dallas Diesels at 7PM. The first league home game is scheduled for Nov 20 vs Oklahoma City.
