
Jacksonville Suns and Wendy\'s to hold benefit event for Children\'s Home Society

Jacksonville, FL (July 31, 2004): The Jacksonville Suns and Wendy's will hold an Adoption Fundraising night benefiting Children's Home Society on July 31, 2004 at 7:00 pm. That night, the Jacksonville Suns will play the Greenville Braves and will wear commemorative "Jimmy Buffett" beach style jerseys. The jerseys will be auctioned off after the game with a portion of the proceeds going directly to benefit adoption. This night is one of the Jacksonville Suns' most popular nights of the year and will feature a post-game Buffett-style concert. Last year's event raised over $2,000 for charity.
"Wendy" will throw out the game's first pitch and participate in the Mascot race for the night. And, after the game, there will be a post Game Buffett-style concert by KRBN Sol. (Caribbean Soul)
