February 18, 2011 - NBA G League (G League)
Idaho Stampede News Release

BOISE, Idaho, February 18, 2011 - The Idaho Stampede announced today Cedric Jackson was selected to participate in the 2011 NBA D-League All-Star game presented by SonoSite. Jackson replaces Tulsa 66ers star Zabian Dowdell on the West squad.

Jackson, a 6-2, 190-pound guard out of Cleveland State, earned three GATORADE Call-Ups last season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, San Antonio Spurs and Washington Wizards. He ranks fifth in the league in assists this season and has two triple-doubles (14 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists vs. NMX 1/8; 12 points, 14 assists, 10 rebounds vs. AUS 1/20). Jackson has played and started in 19 games with the Stampede, 33 total this season including his time with Erie before being traded, and is averaging 12.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game.

"Cedric's selection to the All-Star team is well-deserved," Idaho Stampede Head Coach Randy Livingston said. "He's leading our team and that shows because our record is 12-7 since he got to Boise - and that's what matters."

The fifth annual NBA D-League All-Star Game presented by SonoSite will take place on Saturday, Feb. 19 on Center Court at NBA All-Star Jam Session presented by adidas and will be televised live on NBA TV at 3 p.m. (MT). The fourth annual NBA Development League Dream Factory Friday Night presented by Haier will take place at Center Court at NBA Jam Session presented by adidas on Friday, Feb. 18, at 9 p.m. (MT). All three events - the Slam Dunk and Three-Point Shooting Contests and the second annual NBA D-League Haier Shooting Stars - will stream live on NBA Futurecast at nba.com/dleague.
