
Jackson joins the Storm

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. â The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Tuesday assigned right wing Todd Jackson to the Toledo Storm of the ECHL.
Jackson, a rookie from the University of Maine, has appeared in 30 games with the Griffins this season, contributing two assists and 10 penalty minutes. He was Detroit's tenth selection, 251st overall, in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
The 23-year-old Jackson is expected to make his Storm debut this Friday when they host the Wheeling Nailers in a 7:30 p.m. start at the Toledo Sports Arena.
