JAN. 23 GAME MOVED TO JAN. 24

The Phantoms have announced that their game against the Albany River Rats, originally scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 23 at 5:05 p.m., has been moved to Monday, Jan. 24 at 7:05 p.m. The change is being made to alleviate potential parking and traffic problems due to the NFC Championship Game scheduled for Jan. 23 at Lincoln Financial Field between the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons. All tickets for Jan. 23 will be accepted on Jan. 24. If fans can not attend the rescheduled game, they may exchange the tickets for any remaining regular-season home game.

PHOTO NIGHT SET FOR MONDAY, JAN. 24

Monday night will be the Phantoms' third annual Photo Night. Immediately following the game against the Albany River Rats at 7:05 p.m., all fans will be invited out to the ice to pose for pictures with all of their favorite players and coaches.

PHANTOMS PLAYER CLINIC ON TUESDAY WITH SLANEY AND MURPHY

Phantoms defenseman John Slaney and forward Mark Murphy will be instructing the Delaware Ducks Squirt B Team at the Pond Ice Arena at 101 John F. Campbell Drive in Newark, Del. from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18 at the latest Phantoms Player Clinic. Phantoms Player Clinics are sponsored by Carrabba's Italian Grill.

STAFFORD TO ATTEND MDA MUSCLE TEAM GALA

Phantoms forward Ben Stafford will be attending the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Muscle Team Gala on Tuesday, Jan. 18 at the Wachovia Spectrum. The annual event is organized to recruit top athletes from the Delaware Valley to put their muscle behind the search to find a cure for neuromuscular diseases.

SCHOOL APPEARANCE ON FRIDAY WITH GRATTON AND HOPE

Josh Gratton and Joey Hope will be appearing at Riverside Elementary School on Friday at 1:30 p.m. to meet the fifth graders. The players will read to the kids as well as answer questions and sign autographs. The school is located at 112 E. Washington St. in Riverside, N.J.

NEW GAME PROGRAMS ON SALE NOW

The second edition of the official Phantoms' game program is on sale now at all merchandise stands. It features articles on Phantoms veterans John Slaney and Neil Little, Pennsylvania natives Tony Voce and R.J. Umberger, and a look back at the AHL-record 17-game winning streak that the team put together earlier this season.

PHANTOMS OFFERING BUS TRIP TO BRIDGEPORT ON JAN. 29

The Phantoms have a limited number of seats available for a bus trip to see the team take on the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the Arena at Harbor Yard on Saturday, Jan. 29. The bus leaves the Wachovia Spectrum at 2:30 p.m. for the game, which begins at 7:05 p.m. The cost of the trip is just $5, and includes a ticket to the game and light snacks and beverages on the bus. To reserve your spot, please call the Phantoms sales office at 215-465-4522. There is a maximum of two seats per reservation.

"RUMBLE WITH THE PHANTOMS" RETURNS WEDNESDAY

The Phantoms' weekly radio show, "Rumble with the Phantoms," returns this Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. after a week off. Hosted by Tom Shaw, the show features a player interview, news on the team and ticket giveaways every Wednesday on WNJC (1360 AM).

NEXT CHALK TALK RESCHEDULED FOR FEB. 27

The next Phantoms Chalk Talk for season ticket holders has been rescheduled for Feb. 27 at 2:00 p.m., prior to the game against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at the Wachovia Spectrum. Assistant coach Craig Berube will be the featured speaker at Bullies Sports Bar and Restaurant that afternoon.

AHL ALL-STAR BALLOTING ENDS JAN. 23

2005 Dodge AHL All-Star Classic Fan Balloting, presented by CCM, is under way exclusively on the official website of the AHL, www.theahl.com. Fans can vote in their favorite players to take part in the event, which will be held at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H., from Feb. 13-14. By voting, fans can enter for the grand prize of a game-worn autographed jersey from the contest. Voting ends this Sunday, Jan. 23 at 11:59 p.m., so make sure you log on and vote for all of your favorite Phantoms!

TEAM BRACELETS; PUCKS & KISSES ON SALE FOR CHARITY

Comcast-Spectacor Charities is now selling special team-related silicone bracelets of the Phantoms, Flyers and 76ers. The bracelets can be purchased at home games or ordered through the individual team websites, including www.phantomshockey.com, or by calling (215) 389-9426. Each bracelet is a different color and has a different word for each team, including the purple "Dream" bracelet of the Phantoms, and each is $2 apiece. The bracelets have been an overwhelming success and the demand has been greater than the supply, so the Flyers Wives ask that fans please be patient in the delivery.

In addition, Comcast-Spectacor Charities will be selling Flyers Alumni Pucks & Kisses from Jan. 7-Feb. 11. Priced at $20 apiece, the pucks can also be purchased at home games or ordered by calling (215) 389-9426.

PHANTOMS HOLDING CONTEST FOR LAWN SIGNS

Now is your chance to help promote the Phantoms in your community. Pick up your own lawn sign, which reads, "Phantoms Hockey – Home Tonight!" at the Phantoms offices or at any home game. Simply place the sign in front of your home, work or anywhere else to let people know that there is a Phantoms home game that night and that they should not miss any of the action! The team is also running a contest for the most creative location, so send in your pictures!
