Moncton, NB -Pocketing $100,000.00 cold cash is a real possibility for a fan attending the Rivalary Cup between the Moncton Wildcats and the Saint John Sea Dogs on Tuesday, March 10th at the Moncton Coliseum.
Game ticket sales in Moncton have passed the 4,000 mark. Another 1,800 fans are needed to establish bragging rights as the New Brunswick City with the most dedicated hockey fans.
"It's simple, we want to pack the Coliseum on March 10th," said Wildcats General Manager Bill Schurman. "We're offering fans the chance to take part in a shoot-out for $100,000.00. In addition, we're working with corporate sponsors to have additional major prizes. We know we have the best fans in the province and we want to prove the point with an all out effort," Schurman concluded.
The shoot out plan calls for an elimination in the first intermission, setting up the drama for the big money shot following the second period.
