
Jackie Young Named to WNBA All-Rookie Team

NEW YORK, NY - Las Vegas Aces guard Jackie Young was named to the WNBA All-Rookie Team today after finishing the season ranked ninth in the league in assists, and finishing in the top six among rookies in scoring (6th, 6.6 ppg), rebounding (5th, 3.3 rpg), steals (3rd, 0.8 spg), free throw percentage (3rd, 80.8%), and minutes played (4th, 22.5 mpg).
The number one overall draft pick posted two double-digit assist games on the year, as well as an assist-rebound double-double (10 rebounds, 10 assists vs, Phoenix, August 20). Young recorded seven double-digit scoring efforts, including a career-high 17 vs. Atlanta on August 13 and at Dallas on August 3.
Young is the 10th player in franchise history to be named to the All-Rookie Team.
