JOLIET, IL â The Joliet JackHammers are the first Northern League team to have their games televised live on-line through the "Live Webcast" feature on the team's website: www.jackhammerbaseball.com. Beginning with the JackHammers Wednesday home game versus the Sioux Falls Canaries, fans will be able to view live game action with the play-by-play from the JackHammers radio broadcast at the team's website. The first pitch of tonight's game is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
Will County Sports Productions operates the in-house camera system. They produce a broadcast that plays on the televisions in the Silver Cross Field luxury suites, main concourse concession stands, and in the Pro Shop (team store). This broadcast feed will now be seen in this on-line format thanks to B2 Networks. Visitors to the JackHammers website will find the available link for the televised games on the home page of the JackHammers website. The remaining home games will be televised. In order to view the televised games on-line, there is a cost of $6. Secured pages allow visitors to enter their credit card information to gain access to the webcast.
JackHammers games are heard live on 1340-AM WJOL, and at www.jackhammerbaseball.com. The audio webcast will continue to be available free of charge. Bryan Dolgin is the play-by-play "Voice of the JackHammers," and he is joined for home games by Mark Vasko.
