
Jackals to hold open tryouts May 10

Montclair, NJ (April 2005)âThe New Jersey Jackals are calling out to all baseball players to try-out for the 2005 Jackals team on Tuesday, May 10th from 8:30am-1:30pm at Yogi Berra Stadium. There is a $25 fee to participate in the tryout and players are required to bring all necessary equipment.
"The level of play in the Can-Am league is quite competitive; however, with the number of quality players in the area, you never know when you might find a player with the required skills to join our organization." said Jackals General Manager Ben Wittkowski.

As part of the Can-Am League, the Jackals play the Brockton Rox, Elmira Pioneers, New Haven County Cutters, North Shore Spirit, Les Capitales de Quebec and newest team to the league, Worcester Tornados.
The Jackals begin their season on the road on May 26 and will kickoff their home season on June 2. Season ticket, mini-plans and group packages are now available and can be purchased by calling the Jackals office at 973-746-7434.
