
Jackals Sign Pair of Forwards

The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the United Hockey League, announced today the signing of Jason Sessa and Jeremy Garrison to the roster for the 2004-2005 Season. Their addition brings the roster total to 16 members.
Sessa, a Long Island, NY native was the 86th overall pick in the 1996 NHL Draft, taken by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fourth round. The Jackals acquired his rights from the Quad City Mallards in the off-season. Last season for the Mallards, in 69 games, Sessa totaled 35 goals and 31 assists with 111 PIMs. He has played 104 games at the AHL level over the course of his six-year professional career. The 6'1" 210-pound right-winger also boasts an impressive college resume at Lake Superior State.
Garrison is a 6'2" 205 pound Forward who spent that last two season playing in Germany. In 74 games he tallied 26 goals, 34 assists with 253 PIMs. Before his professional career Garrison played four years of college hockey, three at Notre Dame and one at Quinnipiac College.
"Jeremy is big solid forward with lots of potential," said Jackals Head Coach Todd Brost. "He is a very complete player."
