IceHogs to hold second dance audition tonight

Rockford, Ill.-The Rockford IceHogs held its first audition for the Kryptonite IceHogs Dance Team on Saturday, August 21, and in conjunction with Kryptonite and The Dance Space have scheduled a second audition. Interested dancers will have a second chance to audition for the dance team on Wednesday, September 8 at 6:00 p.m. at The Dance Space.
Registration will begin at 5:00 p.m. Participants must be 16 years or older to audition and selected dancers will not be required to be present at all 40 regular season home games. The Dance Space is located at 7123 Cherryvale Blvd, behind Cherryvale Mall. Space on the team is limited and each member of the Kryptonite IceHogs Dancers will receive unlimited free dance classes while participating as an active member on the dance team, courtesy of The Dance Space.
The first round of auditions featured several participants and local celebrity judges. WXRX's Jim Stone and Double T along with WTVO's Jarrett Dunbar, IceHogs General Manager Ryan Washatka, Kryptonite's Chris Wachowiak and professional dancer and actor Valerie Brandt-Soetermans helped select the first members of the team while Chris Toltzman emceed the audition that took place at Kryptonite in downtown Rockford.
