The Elmira Jackals end their four-game week with an Atlantic Division road game against the Reading Royals at 5:05 p.m.

FIVE-GOAL FLURRY

Elmira made a statement in last night's second period, scoring five times to break open its game against Trenton and eventually going on to win 7-3 at First Arena. The five-goal period was the third of the season for the Jackals and the first since they scored five times in the third period on Oct. 23 in a 7-2 win at Reading.

TIFU TREKKING TOWARD TOP

Yannick Tifu led the Jackals with four points in the victory last night, bringing him into a tie for fourth place in the ECHL with 28 points. Tifu is working on a four-game scoring streak during which he has nine points (3g-6a).
