
Devils Receive Brad Miller from Jackals

Trenton, NJ - The Trenton Devils have acquired defenseman Brad Miller from the Elmira Jackals in exchange for future considerations. The announcement was made by Albany and Trenton General Manager Chris Lamoriello.
Miller, 24, comes to the Devils in the midst of his second season of professional hockey, having previously played for Idaho (ECHL) and Elmira (ECHL). In 22 pro games, the Alpharetta, GA native has five goals, five assists and six penalty minutes. Before turning pro, Miller played four seasons at the University of North Dakota (WCHA) where he played his first three years as a forward, before leading Fighting Sioux defensemen in scoring with 35 points (6g, 29a) as a senior. Prior to college, Miller played one season of junior hockey with Green Bay (USHL) where he had 27 points (13g, 14a) in 40 games. A right-handed shooter, the 5-10, 170-lb. defenseman was born January 31, 1986.
Trenton takes on the South Carolina Stingrays Sunday at Sun National Bank Center at 4:00 p.m.
