Jackals Acquire Kenton Miller from Wheeling

ELMIRA, N.Y. - November 7, 2016 - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, announced today they have acquired forward Kenton Miller in a trade with the Wheeling Nailers for future considerations .
Miller, 25, has appeared in eight games in his first season with the Nailers, producing two points (1g, 1a). The Redvers, Saskatchewan native has 99 career ECHL points over 192 games with Utah, Fort Wayne, Wichita and Wheeling. He had an ECHL career-high 43 points (17g, 26a) in 2014-15 with the Thunder.

The 6-foot, 176-pound forward has also appeared in 11 AHL games with the Manchester Monarchs, Chicago Wolves and Ontario Reign and he had 51 points (30g, 21a) in 53 games in one CHL season for the Missouri Mavericks.
Prior to turning pro in 2012, Miller played junior hockey in the WHL with Spokane Chiefs, Moose Jaw Warriors and Calgary Hitmen from 2008 to 2012. He had 117 points (60g, 57a) in 242 career WHL games.
