Odessa Jackalopes News Release
The Odessa Jackalopes following a weekend split against the Lone Star Brahmas are set to take on the Amarillo Wranglers this Friday and Saturday.
Friday night for the Jackalopes saw them get outshot 43-12, however they were able to come out with the 3-2 OTW. Cam Dunn struck on a 2 on 1 as he picked his corner, bar-down and gave the Jackalopes the extra point. Saturday was a complete turn around as the Jacks nearly matched the Brahmas shots on goal total, but fell 6-3.
Taking a look at Odessa's opponent this weekend, the Amarillo Wranglers sit in 4th place in the South division standings and are winners of two straight contests. Last weekend they beat the El Paso Rhinos 3-2 in overtime and 4-1 in regulation. The team above them, the Oklahoma Warriors have 15 games remaining in their schedule and play a three-in-three this weekend.
