GENEVA, ILLINOIS - Chicago Steel forward Jack Harvey has been named the USHL Forward of the Week for the first time in his USHL career, the league announced Monday.

Harvey, a Boston University commit, is the fifth Steel forward in the last six weeks to earn USHL Forward of the Week honors and third in a row, joining teammates Michael Emerson, Macklin Celebrini, Nicholas Moldenhauer, and Jayden Perron as recipients of the honor.

Harvey had three points (2G, 1A) in Chicago's 6-5 shootout victory on Friday, Nov. 11 at Madison and scored two goals in the team's Saturday, Nov. 12 shootout loss in Cedar Rapids.

The Stacy, Minnesota native leads the league in both points, with 24 (14G, 10A), and goals (14) in 15 games this season. Harvey has scored two goals in each of the past four games, recorded five straight multi-point games, and has registered multiple points in nine of his 15 games played this season.

"Jack Harvey continues to elevate every weekend," said Steel Head Coach Mike Garman. "He's scoring at a remarkable rate, which is a byproduct of his hockey-IQ and his commitment to getting pucks back and being hard to play against.

"He's been a leader on and off the ice for us and continues to build his game each week. We're happy to see his hard work be recognized and excited to watch him keep developing throughout the season."

Harvey is in his third full season with the Steel, amassing 17 points (9G, 8A) in his rookie 2020-2021 season and 49 points (26G, 23A) last season.
