Jack Gets It Dunn: Sens Win 2-1

Jack Dunn drove in placed runner Jackson Cluff with one out in the bottom of the eleventh inning giving Playeros de Harrisburg a 2-1 win Sunday afternoon over the Bowie Baysox. The win was the fifth straight for Harrisburg and the second straight walk off win for Playeros de Harrisburg. The two teams were scoreless through nine with both scoring in the tenth.

Steven Fuentes was the first of six pitchers for Playeros de Harrisburg. He went five scoreless innings allowing three hits. Francys Peguero tossed a scoreless frame. Carson Teel and Reid Schaller combined to go three scoreless innings. Danny Dopico allowed the placed runner to score in the tenth inning, an unearned run. Brian Gonzalez earned the win by stranding the placed runner in the eleventh inning and then watching Playeros de Harrisburg win.

Wilson Garcia saved the day with a two-out pinch hit double driving in Justin Connell with the tying run in the bottom of the tenth inning. Dunn had two hits Sunday and the game winning RBI. Alfredo Rodriguez doubled leading off the fifth inning, but he was left stranded at third base.

Harrisburg has a five-game winning streak, all over Bowie. It was the 32nd errorless game for Playeros de Harrisburg out of 57 games. Both teams had just five hits today. Bowie was 0-for-13 with runners in scoring position. The last four weekend games for Harrisburg have all ended in walk off wins.
