
Ivan Rodriguesz Rehab Planned for Monday

Washington Nationals catcher Ivan Rodriguez said he expects to play five or six innings for Class A Advanced Potomac Monday night in Woodbridge, Virginia, according The Washington Posts' Nationals Journal blog. The Potomac Nationals face Carolina League Northern Division rival Frederick at 7:03 p.m. Monday.
Rodriguez has been on the disabled list with a lower back strain since May 24 and is is scheduled to come off the DL on Tuesday, when Stephen Strasburg is scheduled to make his major league debut. Nationals manager Jim Riggleman said on Friday that he would like Rodriguez to catch a game in Potomac before he returns.
Monday nights at Pfitzner Stadium are Dollar Night, presented by the Washington Post. Hot dogs and general admission, grandstand tickets are just $1 all night! Gates open at 6 p.m.
