Isotopes Even Spring Record with 9-4 Win

Five Isotopes pounded out at least two hits and starting pitcher Matt Blank tossed three strong innings to pick up the win as Albuquerque upended the Norfolk Tides, 9-4, Tuesday afternoon in Port St. Lucie, Fla. With the win, the ‘Topes improved their spring record to 4-4-1.

Josh Wilson drove in three runs, Jason Wood recorded three hits, and Mike Colangelo hammered a two-run homer to pace the Isotopes' attack. Albuquerque will next host the Las Vegas 51's, the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Wednesday afternoon in Jupiter, Fla.

Tickets to all 72 Isotopes home games for the 2005 season are currently on sale at the Isotopes Park Box Office, at local Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster.com, and Ticketmaster by phone at 883-7800. The Isotopes open up the 2005 season on April 7 at Isotopes Park against the Iowa Cubs.
