
Islanders to play in Bridgeport Sept 30

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers and Arena at Harbor Yard announce that an NHL preseason game between the New York Islanders, Bridgeport's parent club, and the New Jersey Devils will take place at the Arena on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 7:05 p.m. Tickets will be available to season ticket holders Tuesday, July 18 and to the general public beginning Friday, July 21.
Hockey fans will have a chance to see former Sound Tigers including goaltender Rick DiPietro and forward Trent Hunter, along with top Islanders' prospects, take on goalie Martin Brodeur and their Atlantic Division rivals. This is a great opportunity to see standout NHL players, including Sound Tigers alumni, in action. The Islanders won six of eight meetings with the Atlantic Division champion Devils last season.
Tickets cost $17.50, $27.50, $37.50 (center ice seats) and $47.50 (on the glass). Groups of 15 or more have an opportunity to receive a $3 discount on $17.50 and $27.50 seats.
An advance sale will be held for Sound Tigers, Islanders and Devils season and partial season ticket holders Tuesday, July 18 (beginning at 10 a.m.) through Thursday, July 20 (ending at 10 p.m.). Tickets will be available to the general public starting Friday, July 21 at 10 a.m. at the Arena Box Office. Tickets may be purchased at the Box Office, on-line through ticketmaster.com, via a link at soundtigers.com, by calling Ticketmaster (203-368-1000) and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
